Easy Direct Debits is so user friendly, and really quick and easy to use. Each member of staff has their own secure log on. You can see your active subscriptions at a glance when you log in I can register a direct debit in under 2 minutes and it’s active instantly – no waiting! Clients have the choice to pay annually as well as monthly. My clients love the fact they can choose their direct debit date to fit with their payday. Help and advice is always at hand from the knowledgeable, friendly Easy Direct Debits team. It’s really useful to have email notifications and updates if any payments are refused or cancelled by the clients or their banks. The system works brilliantly and delivers an easy, convenient service to our clients. I wish we’d moved to Easy Direct Debits sooner.

Before we were with Easy Direct Debits our experience with a market leader in the sector was quite disappointing. They were expensive, did not deliver on their promises and provided us with a system that increase our administrative load rather than eased it. The switch over was very easy and by switching over we now have greater control over the process as we can immediately sign clients up or cancel their policies, should the need arise. We are immediately informed via email if there is a failed payment or a cancelled direct debit. There is an excellent online sign-up option, to help our digital marketing campaigns and the system is even flexible enough to allow us to use it for clients who wish to pay their bills in instalments. The costs of all this are very reasonable and by moving we have saved a substantial amount of money every month. I cannot recommend Easy Direct Debits enough.

The Easy Direct Debits platform is a dream to work with. Really quick, easy and it’s so much better now I can easily search for and amend records myself. One of the best things about switching to EDD has been using the Vet Success marketing services offered alongside the platform. They have years of experience marketing for vets and only do what works. It’s great knowing I can just send them our data and they’ll do everything else! Everything is designed to drive membership of our Healthy Pet Club even if there are other short-term gains too. For example Vet Success are about to do a dental promotion for us that will result in an uplift in dentals performed for the duration of the campaign, but also boost our HPC membership. Our monthly revenue increasing for the lifetime of each client is obviously the biggest gain for us.

Our pet health plan had been running for about four years when we moved to Easy Direct Debits. Previously the system for joining the pet health plan would be clients could sign up either on the phone to a call centre or by posting a completed application form. The client would be notified before the practice that the direct debit had been taken. Often clients would come in expecting to collect products or discounted services and we had not received notification that the direct debit had been taken. This led to some very awkward conversations at reception and sometimes unhappy clients. Paperwork from the direct debit provider was a month in arrears and needed to be reconciled. Often it was unclear if a single direct debit had been taken or if the provider was taking two payments at once. If a payment had defaulted then payment would be tried again the following month, for up to three attempts. However, this could mean a direct debit may be cancelled three months after product and services had been used by the client and not paid for. We were impressed with the simple and transparent online platform that all the reception team could use to sign up new clients. There is no joining fee to the client and it is easy for us to see who has paid and who has defaulted on their payment. Defaulted direct debits are followed up very quickly so we will know within two weeks if the direct debit will be cancelled as three payment attempts are made soon after the first defaulted payment. We can choose when the direct debits are taken and we can have more than one payment date in the month. This gives choice and flexibility to our clients and makes it easier to manage the direct debits in house. The transition from our previous provider to Easy Direct Debits was well managed by Cliff and his team and they were always available to provide advice and help. We would highly recommend Easy Direct Debits to all independent veterinary practices as it is cost effective for both the clients and the practice.
